Make two stacks of two closed player trays. Set them beside the bank.

Build two towers: Mascamites, Anomalies and Centaurians in one, Exertians and ’Oumuamua in the other. Set them beside the player trays.

Put the closed card tray in the space left at the end.

Objective holder and solo cards
Set in the objective holder and the closed solo card tray. Leave the board cradle out for now.

Alien boards and cradle
Lay the alien boards on the floor, locking edge toward the solo cards. Lower the cradle around their smooth end, beside the cassettes.

Sector boards
Stack the four sector boards face up. Match their end to the cradle, then lower the stack onto its two supports.

Tip. The tab that sticks out sits between the two objective columns.

Set both molds on top of the trays. The main-board mold goes on your right, above the tech cassettes: it takes the next three boards.

Blue board, then red board
Seat each board’s right-hand corner in its shaped step first, then lower the other side.

Careful. Keep the boards staggered. Do not line up their edges: the steps hold each board in its own place.

Fill the tile pocket: goal tiles along the curve, the starting player marker above them, the two rotation tokens together, and the Sun standing upright.

Seat the planet board in the main-board mold first. Then add the solar disks around the locator.

Lay the rulebook, quick references and alien rule sheets flat on top. Lower the box lid gently.

Pack the box in 13 steps. Every picture shows the box from the board end: the boards nearest you, the trays at the back and the tech cassettes on your right.

Insert compatible with Ark Nova
Eleven trays in three lanes: zoo decks on the left, buildings in the middle and the bank on the right, each lane topped by its own tower. Each tray is a supply you put on the table, its lid parked underneath while you play. The card trays are sized for sleeved cards (66 × 91 mm).

Zoo deck lane
Put the two closed zoo deck trays in the left lane, one above the other. Each holds two decks, divided down the middle.
